Dear Team A Pink Heart,

I hope that this email finds you having a fabulous Monday and a great start to wonderful week. I wanted to take the time to thank you for your continuous support for A Pink Heart in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. Sadly we did not receive the $50,000 grant after 3 hard and competitive months of trying. It was a stiff competition and although we did not received the grant we all won by making a difference. The gift of caring, supporting, and changing lives is never a win or lose situation but rather a win-win for all.

A Pink Heart was just a small idea of mine back in January. With all of your support by spreading the word and with the help of the Pepsi Refresh Project my small idea is now a big reality. The Pepsi Refresh Project was an amazing opportunity and blessing for A Pink Heart to be apart of. It was the stepping-stone that helped us spread the word quickly on a national level.

Since being a part of the Pepsi Refresh Project and your help we have been able to award A Pink Heart to military spouses at 5 A Pink Heart events in 3 different states. A big thanks goes out to Paul Mitchell The School Phoenix in Phoenix, Az, Paul Mitchell the School Salt Lake City in Salt Lake City Utah, and La Petite Salon and Spa in Middletown, Rhode Island for hosing or getting ready to host their event.

We have received donations from across the nation to award spouses through A Pink Heart care packages that get sent out to spouses who may not yet have the opportunity to attend A Pink Heart event or it is not in their city yet.

Best of all we have made a difference in our United States Military Families one spouse at a time. It is the gift that keeps on giving.

Even though the Pepsi Refresh Project is over A Pink Heart is continuing to go and grow meaning we still need your love and support. Please continue to stay up to date on A Pink Heart as we go and grow awarding A Pink Heart to our outstanding military spouses at www.apinkheart.org.
